Detroit Pistons Notes, Quotes 2008-11-29
--G Rodney Stuckey required a week to shake the Shaq attack. With his health improving, Stuckey is shaking the team's second unit back to life.

Stuckey's right wrist has been bothering him since Phoenix's Shaquille O'Neal knocked him to the floor to prevent a transition basket -- a flagrant foul that got O'Neal tossed from that Nov. 16 game.

With a treatment program prescribed by strength and conditioning coach Arnie Kander, Stuckey felt the pain draining out of his body. He has 25 points and 16 assists in the last two games, including the first double-double of his career against New York Wednesday.

"That's what I've got to do this year," he said. "I've been struggling a little bit. Part of the reason was my wrist is still kind of bothering me. Arnie has been doing a good job of taking care of that and my strength is coming back in my wrist, where I can just go out there and play and not think about reinjuring it."

"I've been caught up in trying to get us to play better," Curry said. "That's been consuming all my time."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "With all the hoopla around everything and just all the attention it got, I just wanted to do well, especially for my teammates. Obviously, I let them down by not being there. I wanted to make up for that with my play." -- G Allen Iverson on his 17-point outing Friday after missing practice the previous day.
