--Pistons point guard Chauncey Billups returned to Detroit from Los Angeles on Thursday to attend to a "personal matter." It's not known whether he will need to miss any more time.
--The Pistons kept veteran guard Lindsey Hunter on the inactive list Saturday even with Billups out. Hunter hasn't been involved with day-to-day practices much over the last month as he fought an illness that wouldn't budge.
"Lindsey could probably only work two minutes at a time," Saunders said before deciding to sit Hunter altogether. "... Lindsey's had like two practices in the last six weeks."
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I was just a decoy when I was out there. It is like that sometimes. You're still in the NBA. Every year is not going to be like this. You have to still try to have fun when you're out there." -- Clippers guard Cuttino Mobley, who scored four points and went 2-for-7 from the floor.
