--Michael Curry will return as head coach next season, the team announced April 29, despite the Pistons' disappointing showing in the playoffs.

--Rasheed Wallace has probably played his last game as a Piston. In fact, his career may be over. Wallace has not decided if he's going to hang up his jersey but his playoff performances against Cleveland were telling. He averaged 6.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and shot 37 percent in the four-game sweep. In Game 4, he was 0-for-7 from the field.

"This is the 13th straight year he's been in the playoffs, and he's played deep every season," coach Michael Curry said of Wallace. "Physically, he just didn't quite have it."

--Coach Michael Curry believes, like many coaches, that the most aggressive team will shoot more free throws. The free-throw disparity in Detroit's playoff series shows just how passive his team was and how much it relied on perimeter shooting. LeBron James attempted 59 free throws in the series; the entire Pistons team attempted 58.
