--F Charlie Villanueva, signed away from Milwaukee this summer, jokes that the league is picking on him. The new league ban on social networking during games and at certain times before and after games will affect him.

Villanueva's Twitter update during halftime of a Milwaukee game last season irritated Bucks coach Scott Skiles and created a national debate on the topic.

"That's a Villanueva rule," he said.

He'll continue to provide plenty of updates at the appropriate times.

"It's all fun and games," he said. "It's a way to stay connected with the fans. The fans deserve that and I have a good time doing that."

--John Kuester was in charge of Cleveland's offense as Mike Brown's assistant last season but that's not his focus in his first NBA head coaching job.

"The thing that has to happen from day one is we're going to have to really preach what it's going to take to be a great defensive team," he said. "That's going to be our main goal right from the get-go."

Hamilton, who made the conference finals six straight seasons on a defensive-minded unit, agrees with that strategy.

"Man for man, offensively, we can hold it down with anybody," he said. "In order for us to be great, we have to do what we do on defense and that's stop people."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We always told each other Connecticut has the best program in the world. We produce the best guards in the world."
