PLAYER NOTES: --G Allen Iverson came off the bench Friday for just the sixth time in his career. He did it four times during his long career with Philadelphia and once with Denver during his first game with the Nuggets.
--F Walter Herrmann tied a season-high with his 16 points against Milwaukee. He also had 16 points against Washington the first week of the season but the Antonio McDyess trade adversely affected his playing time. Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton began playing extra minutes with the second unit because it lacked another scorer outside of Rodney Stuckey.
--F Jason Maxiell had 13 points, eight rebounds and six blocks Friday. The block total tied a career high. Maxiell has four straight games in double figures, something that Coach Michael Curry attributes to improved conditioning from his high-energy specialist.
