Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2008-12-30

Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2008-12-30
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Rodney Stuckey, Shooting guard Allen Iverson, Small forward Richard Hamilton, Power forward Tayshaun Prince, Center Rasheed Wallace. Bench -- Guard Arron Afflalo, Forward Jason Maxiell, Forward Amir Johnson, Center Antonio McDyess.

PLAYER NOTES:

--C Rasheed Wallace received his league-high 12th technical foul during the fourth quarter Monday night. Wallace is just four technicals from the NBA season limit, when a one-game suspension kicks in.

--F Amir Johnson made his second straight start with F Richard Hamilton sidelined. After an eight-point, 11-rebound performance against Milwaukee on Saturday, Johnson did not have a major impact on the Orlando victory. He scored just two points in 19 minutes, though he did contribute seven rebounds.

--G Rodney Stuckey will have the toughest defensive assignment against the Nets on Wednesday. Nets point guard Devin Harris torched Allen Iverson and Stuckey for 38 points in the teams' first meeting, a 103-96 Nets victory that spoiled Iverson's Pistons debut. Stuckey needs to use his strength to limit Harris' penetration moves.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Richard Hamilton has a left groin strain. He is questionable to play against New Jersey on Wednesday afternoon.
