Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2009-01-01
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Rodney Stuckey, Shooting guard Allen Iverson, Small forward Tayshaun Prince, Power forward Amir Johnson, Center Rasheed Wallace. Bench -- Guard Arron Afflalo, Forward Jason Maxiell, Center Kwame Brown.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Rodney Stuckey has cooled off since his career-high, 40-point outburst against Chicago on Dec. 23. Stuckey has averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 assists and 2.8 turnovers over the last four games.

--C Kwame Brown played 22 minutes on Wednesday, his longest stint since playing 28 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 14. Brown had only played a total of eight minutes in the previous 10 games before an injury to C Rasheed Wallace thrust him into action.

--G Arron Afflalo played a big role in the win Wednesday. He was primarily responsible for limiting Nets point guard Devin Harris to 19 points. Harris had 38 points in the first meeting between the teams.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Richard Hamilton has a left groin strain that has sidelined him for three games. He is doubtful to play against Sacramento Friday.

--F Antonio McDyess has sore ribs and missed Wednesday's game against New Jersey. He is questionable to play Friday.

--C Rasheed Wallace has a foot injury that limited him to 10 minutes on Wednesday. Wallace walked out of the locker room without a limp afterward but he's also questionable to play.
