Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2009-01-27
Starters -- Point guard Rodney Stuckey, Shooting guard Allen Iverson, Small forward Tayshaun Prince, Power forward Amir Johnson, Center Rasheed Wallace. Bench -- Guard Richard Hamilton, Guard Will Bynum, Guard Arron Afflalo, Forward Jason Maxiell, Forward/Center Antonio McDyess.

PLAYER NOTES:

--C Rasheed Wallace broke out of a shooting slump Sunday by scoring 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting. Wallace had shot 37 percent from the field in the previous eight games and scored just seven points in the past two games. But he only scored two fourth-quarter points and tossed up an airball with his team down by three in the closing seconds.

--C Kwame Brown received his first start since Jan. 10 but only played the first five minutes. Curry decided to put Brown in the lineup to guard Yao Ming and left him in there, even though Yao didn't play. But Brown made a few defensive errors in the early going as the Rockets jumped out to a big early lead.

--G Richard Hamilton is quickly settling into his sixth man role. After scoring seven points in his first game off the bench, he's scored team-highs of 17 and 27 points.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--No injuries to report.
