Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2009-01-30

Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2009-01-30
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Rodney Stuckey, Shooting guard Allen Iverson, Small forward Tayshaun Prince, Power forward Amir Johnson, Center Rasheed Wallace. Bench -- Guard Richard Hamilton, Guard Arron Afflalo, Forward Jason Maxiell, Forward-Center Antonio McDyess.

PLAYER NOTES:

--C Rasheed Wallace has reasserted himself in the past two games, racking up 47 points after scoring just seven points in the previous two games. He'll have a bigger challenge on Friday, going one-on-one against old nemesis Kevin Garnett.

--F/C Antonio McDyess achieved his second double-double of the season in Minnesota, collecting 14 points and 10 rebounds. McDyess has been the Pistons' most consistent player in January, hitting mid-range jumpers and crashing the boards with ferocity.

--F Walter Sharpe did not make the road trip. The Pistons left the rookie F behind to work out at the team's practice facility. Sharpe has been inactive most of the season but has only played one week in the NBA Development League.
