PLAYER NOTES: --G Richard Hamilton was a pleasant surprise for the Pistons Friday. He was questionable coming into the game because of a sore groin but he was able to play 30 minutes and score 14 points. Hamilton has only practiced twice this month because of the lingering injury, which kept him out of eight games in late December and early January.
--G Arron Afflalo did not play for the first time this season. Afflalo was the only reserve to appear in every game until Friday but Michael Curry used just four players at the three perimeter positions.
--F Tayshaun Prince has gone into an offensive funk. He has averaged 8.3 points in the last four games while shooting 10-for-25 (40 percent) from the field. Prince has not attempted a three-pointer in those games.
