Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2008-05-31
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chauncey Billups, Shooting guard Richard Hamilton, Small forward Tayshaun Prince, Power forward Rasheed Wallace, Center Antonio McDyess. Bench -- Point guard Rodney Stuckey, Power forward Jason Maxiell, Guard Lindsey Hunter, Center Theo Ratliff.

PLAYER NOTES:

--Tayshaun Prince scored 10 points in Game 6 on 3-for-10 shooting. He shot just 32.4 percent for the series, the second season in a row his shooting has dropped off in the conference finals. Prince was the team's most consistent scorer in the first two rounds, but seemed to wear down in the third round as he guarded Paul Pierce.

--Richard Hamilton started and played more than 39 minutes in Game 6 after straining his right elbow in Game 5. He also took a spill early in the game that left him limping, but he stayed in the game and scored 21 points. He shot 9-of-14 and was a go-to scorer for much of the game, and he shot 53 percent in the series.

--Forward Rasheed Wallace didn't do much dancing in the pre-game huddle. And once he got on the floor, his energy was lacking, too. Wallace finished with just four points on 2-for-12 shooting. He picked up five fouls and did lead the team in rebounding with 10 points. After the game, he refused to talk to reporters, saying they might as well "kick rocks."
