The Detroit Pistons announced Monday that Brian Hill has been added as an assistant coach. Having coached more than 36 years, Hill has been an NBA head coach in Orlando (twice) and Vancouver, in addition to being an NBA assistant with four teams. The Pistons also have come to terms with Deron Washington. The 6-foot-7 guard/forward, drafted by Detroit in the second round in 2008, has agreed to a two-year deal for the minimum, which begins at $457,588 this season.
